You are cordially invited to the first official Brayon’s Challenge in Edmundston NB which will be held at the Sports Pavilion from November 10 to November 12 2023. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF PICKLEBALL CANADA TO PARTICIPATE. The tournament is sanctioned by Pickleball Canada (Tier 4)

• Tournament general registration fee: $30 per person
• Registration fee of $20 per person for 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 per events
• Registration fee of $25 per person for 4.5 and Open per events
• Registration fee of $10 per person for singles events

EVENTS 3.0 TO 4.5

Format***:

• Round robin + Single elimination
• Number of teams that goes to playoff will be determined depending on the number of registration
• Event with less than 6 teams: Games to 15 with 2-points difference
• Events with more than 6 teams: Games to 11 with a 2-points difference
• Bronze: 1 game of 15 points with a 2 point difference
• Final (Gold/Silver): To be determined

• 2 of 3 games for all matches (Winners & losers’ bracket)
• 11 point games with a 2 point difference
• Cash prizes awarded to first 3 position ****

SINGLE

• Double Elimination
• 2 of 3 games for Winners Bracket- 11 point games with a 2 point difference
• Loser’s bracket 1 game to 15 points with a 2 point difference

When registering, if you have a partner choose “I have” and enter your partner’s name. If you do not have a partner choose “I Need” which will allow other players to contact you.

When you create your profile or in your existing profile, make sure to select YES to the “Receive in game text messages” option. This will allow you to receive a text message when it is your turn to be assigned to a field. Please make sure that the phone number entered is your cell phone.

Your registration will be considered complete when both players have successfully paid their registration. Players have 5 days to complete payment or they will be put on the waiting list, which will not guarantee your place in the tournament.

All teams/players who are still on the waiting list at the close of registration, due to reaching the maximum capacity in the category, will be refunded as described below.

Events are subject to change based on the number of registrations received and court availability. Event changes will be made according to the same level if possible. Some events may be merged depending on the number of registrations received without further notice.

The Director also reserves the right to change a player/team in their appropriate skill category. No player will be allowed to register in a category lower than their CTPR AND/OR Pickleball Brackets rating without exception.
