The Chicken N Pickle has teamed up with The Association Pickleball Players (APP) to feature the Wheelchair Coed Doubles & Hybrid Coed Doubles tournament! Saturday, June 22, 2024 * 4 – 6 pm Meet & Greet Social & Practice * 2 Indoor Courts Fun evening for players to meet each other and play some practice games. Sunday, June 23, 2024 * 8:00 am Check-in * 8:30 am Wheelchair Hybrid Coed Doubles * Noon – Lunch break has been scheduled for players to hydrate and fuel up for the afternoon event * 1:00 pm Wheelchair Coed Doubles
WHAT IS WHEELCHAIR HYBRID COED DOUBLES? * A fun event bringing of one wheelchair player and one able-bodied player together to work as a team * Great way to support the wheelchair pickleball athletes and have fun on the court. At this time, all events will be coed doubles. Meaning a team could be both female, both male, or one male/one female.
DO I NEED A RATING TO PARTICIPATE? Many players may or may not have a USAP UTPR or UTR Sports UTR-P rating. No worries – WE WELCOME ALL PLAYERS!
